AlpineTable

Terms of Service

Effective 24 October 2026

These terms govern access to AlpineTable. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. If you act for a restaurant or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. AlpineTable is provided by Marques Holdings B.V. (KvK 90484460), and these terms form an agreement between you and Marques Holdings B.V.

Section A — General terms

A1 The service

AlpineTable provides restaurant profile, booking, operations, guest-management, messaging and integration tools for mountain hospitality. Features may change as the product develops. Any paid plan, seasonal pass or custom service is also subject to the pricing and order terms shown or agreed when purchased.

A2 Account and ownership checks

You must provide accurate information, protect your password and promptly report unauthorised use. Creating an account does not give you control of a public restaurant listing. AlpineTable may verify your email, website, business domain or authority with the venue before approving a claim. We may reject, suspend or reverse a claim where authority is not established.

A3 Restaurant responsibilities

The restaurant is responsible for the accuracy of its profile, hours, capacity, menu, prices, access information and booking decisions. It must honour applicable consumer, hospitality, accessibility, privacy and marketing laws, and give guests any notices required for its own processing.

A4 Bookings

AlpineTable facilitates communication between a guest and a restaurant. The restaurant, not AlpineTable, accepts or declines a booking and provides the hospitality service. Mountain access, lift, weather and opening information can change quickly and must be independently confirmed where safety or travel plans depend on it.

A5 Acceptable use

You may not impersonate a venue or person, submit false listings, scrape or probe the service, bypass security or plan limits, send unlawful or unsolicited communications, upload content you do not have rights to use, or use AlpineTable to harm guests, restaurants or the platform.

A6 Guest data and marketing

A restaurant may process guest data through AlpineTable only for legitimate restaurant purposes. Marketing tools may be used only for recipients the restaurant is legally permitted to contact. Unsubscribe choices must be respected. AlpineTable may suspend sending to protect deliverability or prevent abuse.

A7 Third-party services and AI

Optional integrations and AI features depend on third-party providers and their availability. AI output can be incomplete or wrong and must be reviewed before operational or guest-facing use. AlpineTable may require explicit confirmation before higher-risk actions.

A8 Availability and beta features

We work to keep AlpineTable reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Beta and preview features may change or be withdrawn. You should maintain reasonable operational backups for information needed to run service.

A9 Suspension and termination

You may stop using AlpineTable at any time, subject to any paid order terms. We may restrict or suspend access for security risks, unlawful use, non-payment, false ownership claims or material breach. Contact us to request account closure or a data export.

A10 Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlpineTable is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, restaurant performance, guest conduct, changing mountain conditions or third-party services. For a paid service, aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid for that service during the previous twelve months.

A11 Law and contact

These terms are governed by Dutch law, without removing mandatory consumer rights that may apply. Contact Marques Holdings B.V. at hey@pedromarques.io with questions, disputes, export requests or account-closure requests.

A12 Card guarantees

A restaurant can ask guests for a card guarantee through its own Stripe account, under Stripe’s agreement with the restaurant. The restaurant is the merchant: it sets the amount and cancellation window shown to guests, decides whether to charge a no-show or late cancellation, pays Stripe’s fees, and handles refunds, disputes and guest questions. The restaurant must keep its policy lawful, clear and proportionate. AlpineTable provides the software, shows the policy, records the guest’s acceptance and never charges a card on its own. AlpineTable does not hold restaurant or guest funds and takes no commission on these charges unless agreed in writing.

Commercial terms

This part applies when a restaurant takes a paid AlpineTable plan. AlpineTable is a professional service for restaurants and hospitality businesses, not for consumers. Where an individual order or quote says something different, the order or quote prevails.

A13 Plans and prices

The plans are Core, Service, Growth and Alpine Pro, with the features listed on the pricing page on the date of the order. List prices: Core €39 per active month, €179 Winter Pass, €139 Summer Pass, €279 All-Season Pass; Service €89 per active month, €399 Winter Pass, €319 Summer Pass, €699 All-Season Pass; Growth €159 per active month, €699 Winter Pass, €569 Summer Pass, €1,199 All-Season Pass. Alpine Pro is quoted individually, from €249 per active month. Pause Mode costs €5 per paused month on Core and is included on Service and Growth. Launch or founding offers apply only as confirmed in writing.

A14 Prices exclude VAT

All prices are in euros and exclude VAT and any other applicable taxes. VAT is added when required by applicable tax rules. Where a reverse charge applies, the invoice will identify it.

A15 Billing options and seasons

Active Monthly is billed for each month the restaurant is live. The Winter Pass covers the winter season (December to April, 5 months). The Summer Pass covers the summer season (June to September, 4 months). The All-Season Pass covers both seasons (9 active months) plus off-season access to the account. The shoulder months (May, October and November) can be covered at the Active Monthly rate or in Pause Mode. Different season dates can be agreed in writing.

A16 Orders, invoices and payment

Billing is currently handled manually: the plan and billing option are agreed with AlpineTable by email or order form, and Marques Holdings B.V. issues an invoice. There is no in-app card payment yet. The first season pass or All-Season Pass is invoiced when the order is confirmed; each renewal is invoiced on the first day of the next pass period. Active Monthly is invoiced in advance at the start of each active month. Invoices are payable within 14 days of their date by bank transfer to the account shown on the invoice. Invoices are sent electronically to the account’s billing email.

A17 Renewal

Active Monthly continues month to month until it is cancelled or switched to Pause Mode. Winter and Summer Passes renew for the corresponding season in the following year, and All-Season Passes renew for the next annual period, unless cancelled before the new period starts. The dates of the first pass period are confirmed in the order.

A18 Pause Mode

Pause Mode keeps the account, restaurant profile, guest book, menus, photos, history and exports available while the restaurant is closed. Public booking for future open dates can remain available. Features that generate running costs, such as marketing sends and AI features, may be switched off while paused.

A19 Cancellation and notice

Active Monthly can be cancelled at any time by email, effective at the end of the current paid month, with no advance notice period. A season pass or All-Season Pass can be cancelled at any time before the next period starts; the current period runs until its end. After cancellation, public booking is switched off at the end of the paid period and the restaurant can export its data for 30 days before the account is closed.

A20 Refunds

Prepaid season passes and All-Season Passes are not refunded for unused months, including when the restaurant closes early. If AlpineTable ends the service for reasons not caused by the customer, or materially fails to provide it, the unused prepaid period is refunded pro rata. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be excluded by law.

A21 Price changes

AlpineTable may change list prices. A change applies from the next billing period or season after at least 30 days’ notice by email. Periods already paid are not affected. If you do not accept a change, you can cancel before it takes effect.

A22 Late payment and suspension

If an invoice is unpaid by its due date, AlpineTable sends a reminder. If it remains unpaid 14 days after the reminder, AlpineTable may suspend paid features, including public booking, until payment is received; data is kept and access is restored on payment. AlpineTable may charge statutory commercial interest and reasonable recovery costs where permitted by law.

A23 Setup and extra services

Assisted setup, data import, floor-plan setup, custom domains, training and other hands-on services are quoted separately before work starts, unless they are included in an offer in writing.

Section B — Data Processing Agreement

Draft — not yet effective

The DPA below is a draft while provider and security details are being verified. It is not yet effective.

This draft Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is intended to form part of the AlpineTable Terms of Service between the restaurant or organisation using AlpineTable (the customer) and Marques Holdings B.V. (KvK 90484460), which provides AlpineTable. It covers AlpineTable’s processing of personal data on the customer’s behalf under Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) once finalised.

B1 Roles

For the guest, booking and guest-book data it manages in AlpineTable, the customer is the controller and Marques Holdings B.V. is its processor. Where the customer itself acts as a processor (for example for a group or another venue), Marques Holdings B.V. is a sub-processor. Data that AlpineTable processes for its own purposes, such as restaurant account, login, billing and website data, is covered by the Privacy Notice, not by this DPA.

B2 Subject matter and duration

The subject matter is the provision of AlpineTable to the customer. Processing lasts for as long as the customer uses AlpineTable, plus the export and deletion period described below.

B3 Nature and purpose

AlpineTable stores, organises, displays and transmits personal data so the customer can: take bookings through its public booking page, widget and partner links; manage the waitlist, tables and service; keep a guest book; send booking emails and, where the customer chooses, marketing emails; export data; and use optional features the customer turns on, such as the Telegram and WhatsApp owner assistant, AI drafting, voice-note transcription and menu parsing.

B4 Data subjects

Guests and prospective guests who book, join a waitlist or are recorded by the restaurant; recipients of the restaurant’s booking and marketing emails; contacts at partner businesses (such as hotels, chalets and ski schools) that the restaurant adds; and the restaurant’s own staff users.

B5 Categories of personal data

Names, email addresses, phone numbers and preferred language; booking details (date, time, party size, service, table preference, arrival access, gear, notes, status, source and cancellation reason); guest-book data (visit, cancellation and no-show counts, last visit, tags, preferences, dietary notes and internal notes); marketing consent and unsubscribe records; email delivery events; waitlist entries; messages exchanged through the service; staff names, emails and roles; and technical data such as IP addresses used for security. Dietary notes can reveal health information (such as allergies) or religious beliefs. The customer should record only what is needed to serve the guest.

B6 Customer instructions

Marques Holdings B.V. processes the data only on the customer’s documented instructions. These consist of the Terms, this DPA and the customer’s configuration and use of AlpineTable. It does not sell the data or use it for its own marketing. If an instruction appears to breach data-protection law, Marques Holdings B.V. will tell the customer. If the law requires other processing, it will tell the customer first unless the law forbids it.

B7 Confidentiality

Only people who need access to provide, secure or support the service can access the customer’s data, and they are bound by confidentiality obligations.

B8 Security measures

Current measures include: encrypted HTTPS connections; database encryption at rest described in Railway’s DPA; hashed passwords; API, device and staff-invite tokens stored only as hashes; per-restaurant separation of data; owner, manager and employee roles with different permissions; email verification and ownership checks before a new listing becomes public; bot protection and rate limits on signup; signature checks on incoming webhooks from email and messaging providers; explicit confirmation before higher-risk AI actions; and an audit log of significant changes. Measures may change over time but will not reduce the overall level of protection. The production backup schedule and restore procedure must be verified before this DPA becomes effective.

B9 Sub-processors

The customer gives general authorisation for the sub-processors listed in the public register. Marques Holdings B.V. will give at least 30 days’ notice, by email and in that register, before adding or replacing a sub-processor. The customer can object on reasonable data-protection grounds; if no solution is found, the customer can end the affected service and receive a pro-rata refund of any prepaid period. Each sub-processor is bound by data-protection obligations equivalent to this DPA, and Marques Holdings B.V. remains responsible for them.

B10 International transfers

AlpineTable has configured EU processing regions where available, but some providers store or access data outside the European Economic Area. Any such access or transfer requires an applicable adequacy decision or other lawful safeguard, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Provider-specific locations and safeguards are described in the public register; remaining account-level settings must be verified before this DPA becomes effective.

B11 Assistance with data-subject rights

AlpineTable gives the customer tools to answer guest requests: editing and deleting guest records, CSV exports of bookings and guests, and unsubscribe links in marketing emails. If a guest contacts AlpineTable directly about the customer’s data, Marques Holdings B.V. will pass the request to the customer without undue delay. It will also give reasonable help with security, breach notifications and data-protection impact assessments.

B12 Personal-data breaches

Marques Holdings B.V. will notify the customer without undue delay, and no later than 48 hours after becoming aware of a personal-data breach affecting the customer’s data. The notice will describe what happened, the data and people likely affected, the likely consequences and the measures taken or proposed, as far as this information is available.

B13 Return and deletion

On account closure, the customer may export its data from the dashboard or request an export. Marques Holdings B.V. deletes or anonymises customer guest data within six months of the recorded closure date, including backups as they rotate, unless law requires longer retention. The restaurant sets and discloses its post-visit retention period while the account is active; seasonal Pause Mode is not account closure.

B14 Audits

Marques Holdings B.V. will provide the information needed to show compliance with this DPA, starting with written answers to reasonable questionnaires. If that is not enough, the customer may carry out an audit, or have an independent auditor do so, once a year and on at least 30 days’ notice, at its own cost and under confidentiality. An extra audit is possible after a personal-data breach.

B15 Liability and precedence

Liability under this DPA follows the Terms. If this DPA and the Terms conflict on data protection, this DPA prevails. This DPA is governed by the same law as the Terms. Questions: hey@pedromarques.io.
